The Process of
Casting a Plaque

The first step is to sculpt the new artwork on an aluminum pattern.

Then you set up the pattern with aluminum lettering so that is says what you want it to say.

Next, the pattern is placed in a box,

We Accept:

Olivine sand with bentonite that has been mixed with water is then riddled into the mold.

An air rammer is then used to compact the sand.

When both halves of the mold have been rammed up, the mold is then opened to remove the pattern.
