At J & T Foundry and Design, we are able to manufacture many types of castings for industrial use. Some of these include, but are not limited to bushings, impellers, thrust washers, pump housings and stove doors.
Your castings can be made from patterns that you provide or we can have them made for you.
The rough castings can either be sent to the machine shop of your choice to be machined or we work closely with local machine shops to provide you with a totally finished product.
We have on hand the following alloys:
C93200 Sae 660 (general purpose bushing, washers, non-pressure applications).
C87500 Silicon Bronze substituted for tin-zinc bronzes.
95400 Aluminum Bronze spur and low speed, heavily loaded worm gears, nuts, pumps and landing gear parts.
C92200 Leaded tin bronze medium pressure hydraulic and steam to 550 degree F. marine and ornamental castings.
Aluminum 356 Primary and Secondary
Any other nonferrous metals will be considered on a case by case basis.
We can pour up to 800 lbs. of brass or 250 lbs. of aluminum in a single pour.
